You and your childhood friends must save Susberg from a mob of dangerous and suspicious foes. With 40 different foes and a randomly stacked enemy deck each game, the possibilities are endless!
Become an artist, musician, inventor, or athlete. Build your deck from your own card shop, containing items and abilities unique to your character. Buy cards and make powerful combinations to defeat enemies, protect yourself, and most importantly, help your friends.
Each foe brings a special set of rules to the game, making each turn more challenging than the last. To have any chance of saving your town, you and fellow players have to combine your wits to defeat enemies, and help one another stay safe. Remember, you're in this together.

Though the rules of Welcome to Susberg are simple, foes complicate things, and change the way the game is played.
Welcome to Susberg is inspired by the adventure stories we grew up on about a group of childhood friends that go on a perilous journey together. Some of the key inspirations for the general theme were stories like Goonies, It, and Gravity Falls where the heroes fight to protect their homes. We've taken the spirit of those stories, and dialed up the strange and silly as far as it could go.
Each player chooses one of four characters. The Athlete, who trashes cards and removes them from the game. The Artist who mixes paints together and stashes cards aside for later turns. The Musician who makes and spends music. The Inventor who grows their energy, and lets players look at the top of card of their deck.
A deck of 20 foes is procedurally stacked and players must defeat them all to win the game. But if even a single player has no remaining health, you lose, and Susberg falls into darkness... until next time?
Each turn follows these steps. You attack. You defend. You buy. Players first combine their power cards to defeat foes. Then they defend from foes using their block cards. Then you buy new cards with the dollars earned from defeated foes. Sounds easy, but each foe brings a unique change to game, so be ready.
